An opportunity has arisen within Carbon Component Solutions (“CCS”) our fast-growing company for a Stores Person to work alongside the Production Team.

**Summary**

If you have experience in a manufacturing stores environment this will be a great position for you. We are looking for someone with a quality-based mindset and has a keen eye for detail.
- Responsible for the stores area and general store area tasks.
- Ensure correct storage and distribution of all the stock items and BOM parts.
- The completion of general stores administration and regular stock checks and control, maintain accurate stock levels on a daily basis and reporting and addressing any issues of low stock and stock discrepancies.
- Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares.
- Physical selection of BOM picks for the production team in line with daily production requirements, booking the BOM items to works orders in accordance with procedures.
- Hands on approach to counter service and item issuing.
- Maintaining an auditable processes.
- The recording of all part transactions using the company’s Progress Plus system.
- Receiving all deliveries and checking the items received.
- Book in deliveries and confirm parts receipts against order.
- Ensure production team are made aware of any urgent items they are waiting to arrive.
- Liaise with purchasing team and handle queries relating to deliveries.
- Daily dispatching from our production system, creating courier labels and assist in packing components that are to be shipped each day, checking them off against the delivery note.
- The delivery and collection of parts as and when required.
- Ensuring the store area is kept clean, tidy.
- Liaise with production management and attend the production meetings.
- Assist with the yearly stock take.
- Experience working within a stores or similar inventory, stock control environment.
- IT skills - Confident using Microsoft office and inventory management systems and have the ability to grasp new process and procedure, experience working with Progress Plus would be advantageous.
- Ability to follow instructions efficiently and accurately.
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
- Logical approach to problem solving, be self-confident and able to work well as a team.Be able to work with minimum supervision and manage time effectively.
- Have the drive and flexibility to supporting the business as priorities and requirements change.
- Please Note a clean driving licence is necessary for this role.

Rate of pay: Competitive

Hours: Mon - Fri 8.30 am - 5.30 pm Std Hours (Mon -Fri part-time hours will be considered)
