**Job Title**: Ecommerce Executive

**Contract**: Full time, permanent

**Salary**: Up to £28,000

**Location**: Edinburgh (Hybrid working model with 3 days working from the Leith Office and 2 days working from home).

We are seeking a passionate Ecommerce Executive to join an established household name in the Scottish Outdoor Retail Space.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a renowned UK brand and a highly experienced team. Joining this business will allow you to grow and learn from within while making a significant impact on the customer experience. From captivating copywriting to attractive imagery, you'll play a pivotal role in boosting sales and enticing customers. Collaborating with talented e-commerce and digital marketing professionals, as well as buying and merchandising experts, you'll be at the forefront of online success. Additionally, you'll have the chance to develop valuable partnerships with external suppliers, working together to achieve shared goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage new product uploads, creating captivating descriptions, categorizing effectively, and curating stunning imagery.
- Optimise product discoverability and improve website navigation for an enhanced customer experience.
- Analyse sales and shopping patterns, identifying opportunities for merchandising improvements that drive conversions.
- Utilize content writing to assist customers in making purchase decisions and attract organic traffic.
- Collaborate with buying and merchandising teams, ensuring alignment with digital merchandising strategy.
- Assist in other categories as needed, supporting overall digital merchandising goals.
- Stay informed about the wider business sales strategy, working closely with product buyers and merchandisers.
- Align strategies with the digital marketing team to maximize category impact.

**Requirements**:

- 1+ years’ experience in ecommerce management, demonstrating your expertise in driving online success.
- Experience using an Ecommerce CMS (Shopify, Magento, etc).
- Excellent analytical skills, proactively managing your categories to maximize sales.
- Understand the importance of impactful information in the sales process.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using data analysis tools.
- Experience crafting engaging and informative copy that transforms product listings into calls to action.
