**About the Opportunity**

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Mechanical QA/QC Inspector predominantly employed on our Sellafield Site, working across various buildings/Projects on the site and also working within the supply chain.

The Role of the Mechanical QA/QC Inspector will report to the Quality Manager and support the site Quality Lead team.
- To deliver a high quality, consistent and competent mechanical/welding Inspection service in accordance with project / company requirements, standards and procedures;
- To witness, supervise or conduct welding inspections, to ensure welded components meet specific standards;
- Complete all work scope in accordance with applicable work pack / job card instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches;
- Provide inspection support to construction activities where required, as part of an integrated multi-discipline team;
- To compile and complete quality documentation in accordance with company and contractual requirements;
- To have thorough knowledge of fabrication and NDT techniques. VT, PT & MT;
- To have thorough knowledge of QC Inspection and Dimensional Inspection techniques;
- Ability to generate work packs, Inspection and Test plans, inspection reports and Life-Time Records,
- CSWIP 3.1
- CSWIP/ PCN Level II, PT
- CSWIP/ PCN Level II, MT

**Desired Qualifications**:

- BGAS-CSWIP/ICorr/NACE Coatings Inspector
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

**Experience**:

- 5 Years’ Experience as a Welding Inspector;
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety;
