**Overview**:
The post holder will support our membership team in the planning and organisation of scheduled and unscheduled membership events across the year.

**Role and Responsibilities**:
**Key duties and responsibilities**
- Work with the Region Directors and Membership Managers in identifying requirements and expectations for each event.
- Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
- Manage and deliver all aspects of events administration - to include updating IT systems, attendance recording system, invoicing, member processing.
- Manage all event set-ups.
- Book venues, photographers, and work with the Membership Team in scheduling speakers / event contributors.
- Support the promotion of events internally to ensure maximum attendance.
- Evaluate the success of the event
- Other duties will include administrative support to the Membership team across related areas.

**The Qualifications and Experience we are seeking**

Well organised, with excellent multi-tasking skills.

Excellent administrative skills

Proficient in IT, with Excel, Outlook and Word to intermediate level.

Accuracy and good attention to detail.

Planning and prioritising own workload.

Good communicator both written and verbal, with a clear and concise telephone manner and strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Pro-active approach.

Team player and able to offer a degree of flexibility to cover within the department when needed - on occasion this may include additional working hours.

Full UK driving licence and own vehicle, able to travel occasionally to other offices/locations (with a mileage allowance) is preferred

**Required Skills**:

**Required Qualifications**:
Maths, English and ICT, GCSE Grade 4-9 or equivalent

**Training**:
Events Assistant level 3
- Maths and English to Level 2 required, if not already achieved

- commercial awareness
- managing challenging situations and taking ownership
- health and safety
- Ongoing assessment by the employer and provider - for example meetings with apprentice, employer and learning provider, observations of workplace, gathering evidence

Undertake a self-assessment in the last month of their apprenticeship to enable them to see whether they are confident that they have taken on board all aspects of the occupation. This self-assessment must be submitted to the independent end point assessor as a source of evidence to prepare for independent End Point Assessment which will include a showcase portfolio; a project; an employer reference and a structured interview about their portfolio and project.
