Bakery Operative

**Food Production/Packing Operatives**

**Bolton - BL3 6BG**

**11PM - 7AM**

**Hours of Work: 37.5 - 45 per week**

**Shift pattern: 4- 5 SHIFTS PER WEEK**

**Starting Rate: £11.50 increases after 4 weeks.**

Due to new product launches our site based in **“BOLTON” **are currently recruiting for a number of food production operatives to join the team, to help produce, pick, and pack our products ready for store delivery.

All new starters will be required to complete a 12-week trial period and given a permanent position upon successful completion.

**Daily Responsibilities**

Weighing up Ingredients.

Quality checking of products/packaging

Manoeuvring biga tubs up to 45kg to production lines.

Operating machinery-Line set-up/flo-wrap/box erector etc.

Pulling/Pushing Racks

Picking/packing finished products to strict deadlines.

Loading/Unloading Industrial ovens.

Palletising orders ready for despatch.

Following customer specification guidelines

Complying with Food Safety/ Health & Safety requirements.

Clean as you go within working area.

**Skills Required**:
Must be of minimum required age for general rules of employment

Team Player

Basic English communication/understanding

Ability to work under pressure

Good Maths skills

Good attitude to work

Previous manufacturing experience an advantage'''Duties'''
- Assist in the production of bakery items such as bread, pastries, and cakes
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Operate baking equipment and machinery
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
- Decorate and package finished bakery items
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment

- Previous experience working in a bakery or food production environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and HACCP guidelines
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating recipe quantities
- Mechanical knowledge to operate baking equipment effectively
