Shift Patterns: 4 on 4 off (6pm - 6am)

Rate of pay: starting at £11.50 per hour plus night allowance

**About Us**:
At David Wood Foods we have over 20 years’ experience in the bakery business, and if one thing is clear about our company it’s that we’re passionate about baking.

We currently produce a range of quality frozen 'bake off' and craft bakery products encompassing Savoury Pastry, Sweet Pastry, Bread, Morning Goods and Confectionery products from seven cutting-edge bakeries around the UK.

**About the Role**:
Our factory is based in Bolton, Sidney Street is currently recruiting for dispatch operative's. Working as part of a team you will be responsible for general duties within dispatch and goods in, picking & packing, loading/unloading, paying particular attention to detail while picking and identify product codes accurately.

You must have the ability to work in an organised manner prioritising your workload, whilst maintain high standards, even under pressure.

Main Duties:

- Recording Goods inwards / Outwards
- Ensure checks to verify stock levels for re-ordering are accurate and appropriate
- To take delivery of goods delivered into stores, with the use of Forklifts where required
- Ensure that all goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and check for damages and quantity
- Put materials away in stores after deliveries
- To get materials out ready for Factory use
- Assist with stock checks when requires
- Keep stores clean & tidy
- Ability to lift boxes of varying weights
- Monitor scrap metal returns and general waste skips
- **MUST** have warehouse experience
- Must be of minimum required age for general rules of employment

A FLT licence will be required for this role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
