The Opportunity
A well-known organisation in Oxford are looking for a well-rounded and experienced Learning and Development Partner join their expanding team on a permanent basis.
This role is brand new role with lots of scope. You will have the opportunity to set up an L&D function from scratch
This is to join a proactive environment, where you will report directly into Director of Human Resources
This is a permanent position paying a range of £50.000 - £60.000 depending on experience
This is a hybrid role that will need to travel to Oxford up to two times a week
The Detail
*You will help to create and build a learning, development and continuous improvement culture *You will lead the design and delivery of learning projects and programmes to ensure workforce is skilled and equipped to deliver our current and future needs.
*You will be the go-to L&D expert and will help to instil the importance of L&D and create a learning culture in the business.
*Work in close partnership with managers and directors across the organisation to understand the development needs for all employees and proactively deliver a schedule of innovative learning solutions to support these needs.
*Work across the business to develop and understanding of the professional qualifications required for our staff
*Develop L&D Forum, ensure staff are engaged and involved with L&D initiatives
*Design and deliver internal training including the corporate induction, utilising the support of HR colleagues
Skills and Experience
Experience of setting up an L&D function for an SME organisation will be essential
*Experience delivering training and learning interventions
*Previous experience of training design and development
*Relevant training qualification; e.g. OD or L&D further education and or professional qualifications
