Cafe Assistant

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in food preparation and presentation, ensuring all items are served fresh and appealing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including dining spaces and kitchen facilities.
- Support catering operations as needed, ensuring timely delivery of food items for events.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive work environment.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices to ensure the health and safety of our customers.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is highly desirable.
- Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Experience in preparing sandwiches daily and making sandwich filings
- Familiarity with catering services and food preparation processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 40 per week
