Cafe Cook

**Job Summary**

**Duties**:

- Assist in food preparation including slicing meats, cheeses, and preparing sandwiches, using cooking equipment grill, hot hold, hob,
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli counter and kitchen area
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders and offering recommendations
- Upsell products to customers to enhance their shopping experience
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Operate deli equipment efficiently and safely

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a cooking environment or restaurant/deli setting is a must
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and operations is beneficial

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week
