Red Balloon Worthing are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) to join our team. **This role has potential for leadership opportunities, up to Assistant Head level, alongside variable and flexible hours.**

As a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo), you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective provision of support and resources to meet individual needs and promote inclusive practices across the school.

**To be considered for this role you will need**:

- Qualified teacher status
- Experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
- Understanding of SEND legislation, policies, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of various learning difficulties and disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and external agencies.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to inform decision-making and evaluate interventions.
- Proven organisational and time-management skills to prioritize workload effectively.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
