SEN Teacher - SEMH Specialism - Worthing

Are you a qualified teacher looking for a new challenge? Have you worked with children and young adults with SEMH and ADHD?

Engage Education is currently working with an SEN school based in Worthing who are urgently seeking a caring and enthusiastic teacher for a long term role to start immediately.

The school caters for students with SEMH & ADHD, It caters for students across the secondary phase. Their aim is that every student has access to a curriculum which values each individual; nurturing them to develop their communication, social, emotional,academic and vocational skills. The school believes that through collaboration, celebration and challenge, that their students can be given every opportunity to succeed.

**About the role**: The needs of the pupils they cater for range from:

- Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties
- ADHD.

This is a full time, long term position until the end of the academic year on a long term contract and there could be an option of a permanent offer.

The right SEND Teacher will have the following:

- Qualified Teacher Status, 6 months previous SEND experience
- Ability to adapt tasks to meet the needs of individual children
- Effective behaviour management skills
- Effective communication with members of internal staff, including SENCO
