JEP Youth Engagement is determined to support young people to fulfil their potential. We are looking for responsible, caring people to join our team at JEP Youth Engagement as Residential Childcare workers. Your work will be extremely rewarding and the role is an ideal job for people who want to make a real difference in young people's lives.

**Skills**
- Hold an NVQ3 in Children and Young People / Residential Child Care or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role or care setting is essential
- Good understanding of supporting children and young people in a residential setting
- Have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and young people
- Full UK Driving Licence needed

**Responsibilities**
- Carry out essential and varied roles to provide the support required by the children and young people in our care
- Work will be carried out at the weekend - with the ability to carry out sleep-ins as an essential
- Provide a safe, caring environment where every child can thrive all times
- Ensure basic primary care needs are met and act as a role model at all times

**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Support Environment: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (preferred)
