We are a SEN school specialising in the education and care of children and young people, Primary to secondary school age, who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. We are looking for someone with the passion, enthusiasm and drive to support our young people in achieving their potential. You will be part of a dedicated and lively team that focuses strongly on the core areas of education, independence and inclusion.
**Under the direction of the Inclusion Lead for Pastoral/Behaviour, the role will include the following key accountabilities**:
- Collecting and analysing behaviour incidents
- Reporting incidents through Engage
- Updating individual Positive Behaviour Support plans, and individual risk assessments
- Central point of contact for pastoral support
- Recording behaviour incidents and co-ordinating pastoral support
- Effective liaison with staff, parents and students regarding pastoral and behaviour related circumstances
- Planning and organising pastoral training
- Delivering whole school pastoral support to individual students when necessary
- Promoting engagement in learning throughout the school day.

Experienced of working in an SEN environment and training around supporting people with trauma and mental health issues would be beneficial but not essential, along with the following characteristics:

**Communication **Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
