**About the role**:
As an accounts assistant, you would be providing accounting and administrative support to accounting and finance staff to ensure customer and supplier accounts are accurate; receiving, processing and filing paperwork; and managing petty cash transactions.

Previous experience of working within a similar environment and bookkeeping is advantageous. Working experience and a good understanding of Sage 200 would be an advantage but not essential.

**Tasks Including**:

- Purchase Ledger
- Credit control
- Cash postings
- Checking and processing expense claims for staff
- Reconciling recharges
- Day to day inputting in accounts package (SAP)
- Prepayments
- Purchase ledger and payment run reviews
- New supplier set up
- Ad hoc duties as required
- Have experience in an accountancy role
- Have SAP experience
- Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and prioritise
- Be proactive, inquisitive and a fast learner
- Have proven ability to operate as part of a multi functional team.

- Issues resolved at speed with mínimal disruption
- Involving the right people at the right time
- Ensuring that information is updated daily and accurately in all systems, correspondence and reports
