**The Client**:
The client are an FTSE 250 Total IT Solutions Provider and Global Outsourcing Specialist are seeking to secure the services of a Microsoft Security Solution Architect to deliver astute Security Infrastructure Frameworks across a wide and varied client base.

With long-term partnerships spanning over 30 years within Citizen Services, this client has provided a diverse range of IT Services to Local Authorities and Central Government. These IT Services range from the administration of major employment and healthprogrammes, to managing major services in partnership with Local Authorities such as UK Leisure and Environmental Services.

**The Solution Architect will actively support the execution of IT Projects and bids to Clients**:

- You will understand business requirements, identifying any gaps between business requirements and IT capabilities.
- You will define solutions to bridge the gaps, making sure that the project scope is maintained, and solutions implemented in line with the Clients Architectural Principles and IT Strategy

**Technical Requirements**:

- Microsoft Security experience including Defender, Intune, Compliance etc.
- Experience in public sector projects/internal delivery.
- Must be willing to undergo BPSS security clearance.
- In some cases, SC may also be required depending on assignment.
- TOGAF 9/10 certification is desirable.
- Experience with SAP & ServiceNow environments is desirable.

**Responsibilities**:

- Attending solution reviews and ensure designs meet the Clients Solution Architecture Standards.
- Delivering innovative solutions with existing capabilities or creating new innovations that drive down overall cost and increase automation.
- Presenting solution design and architecture.
- Providing architectural guidance and design leadership to the project delivery teams.
- Support to the delivery team, supporting the change control process throughout the project
- Explaining technical issues and IT solution strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure that solution design milestones are accomplished in accordance with the project plan
- Ensuring solution and service designs are aligned with business needs and support Enterprise Architecture roadmaps.
