**Support Analyst** **The Role** We are looking for an Application Specialist with experience in an Application Support Role or similar join their growing team. The Application Specialist will assist in supporting and maintaining the bespoke pricing system on a day-to-day basis. The role sits within the IT Data Team, where you will work closely the Service Management / Development Team. They are in the Times "Top 100 companies to work for" and are committed to their ethos of "putting the fun into insurance". **What benefits are there?** - 33 days holiday (inc Bank Holidays) with the ability to buy and sell more days. - 5% contributary pension scheme, - health and well-being support, - life assurance, - a portal full of individual benefits including retail discounts, memberships, discounted restaurants, cinema tickets and much more **Duties**: - Ensuring stability and availability of the core bespoke pricing system, - Monitoring the performance of the bespoke pricing system to ensure optimal performance is achieved, - Assisting the wider team with releases and deployments to support the business objective to grow the pricing system, - Ability to handle & effectively carry out multiple tasks to a high standard and within specific timescales, - Proactive identification and investigation of unexpected changes in system behaviour and communicating accordingly to internal stake holders, - Collating and analysing performance stats to look for shifts in the norm, - Data analysis to investigate and identify the root cause of any issues, and taking action to limit future re-occurrences of the same issue, - Identifying and responding to issues & requests for change, raising with internal & external parties where appropriate & managing through to resolution. **Skills** - Knowledge and experience with Azure components for CI/CD pipelines and releases, - Ability to understand and respond to business demands in a rapidly changing business environment - Experience of one the following is beneficial, Service Fabric, VM Scale sets, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) - Knowledge of one of the following deployment tools desirable, Octopus, Teamcity, Azure Devops, Terraform - Ability to translate technical issues and 'jargon' to non-technical users - Strong analytical skills, good problem assessment & an ability to prioritise with an attention for detail - Understanding of the system change process / audit trails and process flows etc. - Strong relationship building and negotiation skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Willingness to learn new technologies **Salary: -**£30,000 - £35,000 (_depending on level of experience)_ **Location: -** Whitstable or Tunbridge Wells with a hybrid working model (mixture of office and work from home) **Hours: -**Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm - Full time and permanent, 35 hours
