**Job Overview**
We are a newly established business based in Blandford, Dorset. Our business specialises in delicious creative food, that happens to be all plant-based (vegan).

You will be involved in helping with food preparation, washing dishes, packing food orders or boxing up cakes; as well as serving customers.

This position is perfect for individuals who have a passion for food and delivering a great service.

**Duties**
- Assist in food preparation, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients for various dishes.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Help with the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen area, ensuring all utensils and equipment are properly cleaned and stored.
- Support chef during meal preparation by following instructions and assisting with tasks as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and a positive working environment.
- Serve customers and help with orders.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, whether in a restaurant, catering service, or similar setting, is advantageous but not essential.
- A basic understanding of food safety practices is preferred.
- A keen interest in food and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work effectively both alone and as part of a team, while maintaining attention to detail.

**Hours for the role**:
Thursday: 5-9

Fridays: 5-9

Saturdays: 5-9

Plus ad-hoc days/hours for events eg Sunday 3rd August we are open all day for a summer fair.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week

Schedule:

- Weekend availability
