**Role: Senior Residential Care Worker**

**Salary**:£25,275.25 per annum plus £55 per sleep**

**Hours: 43.75 hours per week - 24 hour shifts, 3 week rolling rota**

**Week 1 - Monday, Wednesday, Saturday**

**Week 2 - Tuesday, Friday, Sunday**

**Week 3 - Thursday**

**Location: Maiden Bradley**

**Contract: Full Time; Permanent**

**About the Home**:
Kate's Bench (Wessex College) is a registered Children’s home. We support Children and Young People to build incredible futures by giving them opportunities, developing their life skills and personal interests.

This home is located in Maiden Bradley within commutable distance from Warminster, Frome and surrounds

**Who are we are looking for?**

To become a Senior Care Worker with us, you will need to have achieved your Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent NVQ qualification. You should also have at least 1 year’s hands on experience in a similar residential environment.

We know that the children and young people in our care can be challenging, and we are looking for Care Workers who are up for that challenge. You will be patient and resilient, and able to recognise the reward in transforming a young person’s life. You will take care of everyday needs, using a calm, reliable approach that builds trust and confidence.

You will be friendly, approachable and kind in your dealings with your team and children and young people. You will be committed to giving them the space and opportunity to thrive, playing your part in creating a nurturing environment in which they can fulfil their potential.

You will play a key role in the smooth-running of the site, and you will have a good grasp of safety and hygiene, and a conscientious dedication to the young people’s wellbeing. This is a role in which attention to detail really counts - and one that touches the real lives of people every day

- Full and valid UK Driving Licence
- Right to Work in the UK
- Currently hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
