**Platform Resourcing **are looking for a **Delivery Progress Coordinator **to join an established team in Cardiff with experience in a similar role.

**Hours Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5pm and one Saturday is to be worked every 3rd week 8am - 1pm**

**The role**:
You will co-ordinate the work of the driver and valeting teams on the daily basis, ensuring that work is effectively programmed and that the resource available operates at maximum efficiency to ensure customer needs are met

**Delivery Progress Coordinator Key Responsibilities**:

- Co-ordinate the work of the driver and valeting teams on a daily basis maintaining the highest standards whilst maximising output
- Manage daily workload between the teams to ensure vehicles are ready for handover and deliveries are met in a timely manner
- Communicate in a structured, clear and timely manner work responsibilities
- Booking hire cars as required on the ARMS system
- Liaise with delivery agencies where required
- Ensure that the driver and valeting team adhered to their daily working hours, strict monitoring of overtime.
- Collation driver & valeters hours and expenses on a weekly basis for payroll and log via excel for submission to HR.
- Organisation of the storage compound & parking areas - to be kept orderly and ensure responsible parking of all vehicles maximum space utilization, maintaining accessibility whilst limiting damage
- Ensure dealer displays and parking locations are tidy and presentable, in line with brand standards and expectations
- Proactively keep demo fleet cleaned and parked correctly when not in use
- Employ full damage checks and reporting prior and post to all vehicle movements. Ensure use of phones/videos/apps to record/report damage throughout the driver & valeting teams
- Thorough checking of inbound vehicles brought from body builders, new vehicle transporters, dealer transfers etc.
- Reporting of damage/missing items to Sales Support in a timely and accurate manner
- Inbound Used Vehicle Checks Appraisals
- Proactively work with Sales Support, workshops, paint shops and other contractors to progress vehicles in line with our dealership KPI's
- Photograph used vehicles for advertising & uploading of pictures to dealer file

**Delivery Progress Coordinator Essential Experience and Skills**:

- Experience within a Transport/ Logistics roles
- Experience of coordinating and arranging deliveries
- Strong Administration skills, use of Microsoft Office Packages including Excel, Word and

Outlook
- Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal
- Confident to communicate with customers and internal teams
- Full driving license
