We are looking for a Transport Team Leader for our Doncaster B&Q site on a full-time, permanent basis.This is a great opportunity to takea leading role in delivering the plan for continued growth and for ensure that your colleagues are consistently providing an excellent service for our customer.

You’ll work the night shift on a 5 from 7 shift pattern, working from 22:00- 06:00.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We are looking to offer a salary of up to £25,145 per annum plus a night premium. In addition, we offer 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You will have access to a variety of high street discounts, as wellas a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other benefits.

**What you will do on a typical day**:

- Effectively lead site teams operationally and to support people management processes
- Direct and guide your team to meet operational objectives such as service provision, productivity and compliance KPIs
- Ensure driver and vehicle compliance in terms of WTD regulations, planned maintenance and inspections
- Work collaboratively with the site/transport management team to ensure optimum performance and efficiency

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Previous experience leading a fast-paced transport team, preferably with exposure to retail distribution
- Ability to engage and drive your team
- The ability to effectively communicate in both a written and verbal capacity as well as lead, inspire and motivate a diverse operational team
- An excellent understanding of transport compliance, such as working time directive and vehicle maintenance (a CPC would be a strong advantage)
