AWS DevOps Engineer - Platform Security - Oxfordshire / Fully remote

Avanti Recruitment is working with a successful Cloud based software provider in Oxfordshire to recruit an AWS DevOps Engineer to join their small but talented technical team working on market leading software products. They have well established Cloud basedproduct and are looking for someone to continue the automation process, improve security, build, configure and optimise environments to improve the speed, reliability and scalability of their platforms. They are looking to achieve the ISO27001 accreditationthis year and have a longer term view to optimizing their CI/CD pipelines and processes and upgrading their MySQL Databases with mínimal downtime, perhaps moving it to AWS Aurora. This is a replacement role so you will be the only specific DevOps Engineerin their software team so they are looking for someone who can hit the ground running.

To be considered you will have proven skills and experience in many of the following:

- 3 years experience in an AWS Cloud and DevOps Environment
- A strong focus on security
- AWS Services: IAM, EC2, S3, CodeDeploy, CloudFormation, RDS, CloudWatch, IoT
- Linux
- Databases e.g. MySQL

Desirable skills for future projects include:

- Optimising CI/CD pipelines
- Docker / Kubernetes (not using yet but its in the roadmap)
- AWS Aurora
- Lambda
- AWS Sagemaker
- Have helped a company through the ISO27001 accreditation

**Salary**: Up to £70,000 + benefits

Location: Remote working (UK based) - the Office is based in Oxfordshire but there are no requirements to go there.
