We are looking for a strategic, ambitious and commercially focused Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO)to join our Board of Directors.

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust (CHFT) is an integrated Trust of 6,500+ colleagues providing hospital and community services on the edge of the glorious Pennines. We are rated as ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission, are a top performing Trust for Emergency and Cancer Care and widely acknowledged as a national digital lead when it comes to caring for people across our local and regional systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technology leader to join a Trust which is already seen as a digital exemplar on the next stage of our journey. We are looking for someone who can further transform services to patients at CHFT, our communities in Kirklees and Calderdale and services across West Yorkshire, by fully embedding existing digital systems and adopting the best technology systems and solutions available to further improve and transform care.

Work is currently underway to create a brand new, purpose-built Emergency Department on our Huddersfield site, with the very latest digital and clinical technology. In addition, we are currently hard at work on the expansion of services at our Halifax site to enhance patient experience, as well as provide a positive environment for colleagues. As a member of the Board, the CDIO plays a crucial role in these developments.
