Are you an experienced Nursery Practitioner seeking a new challenge?

Small Steps Day Nursery and Pre-school is a small business in child care and education in Wirral, CH48 5HE. We are supportive and collaborative, and our goal is to to help our children to take small steps to a brighter future.

- The Nursery closes on the last working day before Christmas Eve and opens on the 2nd January. You will never have to work at Christmas again.

- Birthdays Off
- Free Staff Uniform supplied
- Hold a level 3, NNEB, NVQ, Cache or recognised equivalent Early Years Childcare / Nursery Nurse qualification
- You will have a good understanding of the EYFS and able to observe, support and extend children's learning.
- Ensure children receive a rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development within the setting.
- You will be able to develop effective positive working relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
- You will be enthusiastic, have a positive attitude and a passion for working with children.
- Excellent communication both written and verbal.
- An understanding of Nursery safeguarding policies and procedures

We have a child centred approach, putting the children first, through The Curiosity Approach and Reggio Emilia Approach. We also have the latest technology and tracking techniques to help our staff have less paperwork and enabling more quality time with the children.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Extensive cleaning regime in place in the nursery. Contact with parents limited to doorstep drop offs and collections

**Experience**:

- Nursery Supervisor: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare in an Educational setting: 1 year (preferred)
