**Location**:
The role is remote within the UK but will require occasional travel for meetings.
**See below the daily tasks of a Head** **of Agile Programme Management**:
- Coordinate Program Increments including planning and other key ceremonies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product Management, and engineering teams to ensure backlogs are appropriately defined and features prioritised.
- Working closely with Product Management to ensure we are optimising value produced.
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure value is delivered to market in a smooth and clear fashion.
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure that release management is embedded and evolves.
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement, communication, and collaboration.
- Ensure approach to work definitions drives smooth outputs and releases.
- Stakeholder engagement and management.
- Risk management, ensuring high level risks are understood and mitigated.
- Establish delivery metrics, evaluating these and reporting on progress.

**We would like you to have the following skills**:
- Experience in a Programme or Project management role.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and ability to adapt your knowledge to the context in hand.
- Experience of collaborating with in-house and outsourced software development teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Results / delivery focused with strong organisation, project planning, resourcing, and budgeting abilities.

- Ensuring that Agile programmes are delivering tangible business value aligned with organisational objectives.
- Accelerating delivery timelines while maintaining quality and stability.
- Ensuring that Agile methodologies and best practices are being followed effectively across programmes.
- Ensuring stakeholder satisfaction with both outcomes and the delivery process.
- Ensuring releases are coordinated, well documented, and smooth to market.
- Building and maintaining high-performing Agile teams with motivated and engaged team members.
- Setting up precise metrics and KPI’s to monitor program effectiveness and showcase value to stakeholders.
