Business growth has driven the need for additional support within accounts departments mainly with the management of inventory, the processing of accounts payable invoices and generally assisting Financial Controller.

The role will involve mainly office-based work, but with some requirement to monitor warehouse stock - albeit without physical exertion.

In more detail, your responsibilities will be:

- Ordering stock and arranging delivery to sites
- Creation of monthly stock takes and running of stock discrepancy reports
- Ensure all Goods In are kept up to date and recorded on system
- Monthly stock take controls and monitoring Goods in and out of all warehouse stock
- Maintaining the correct buying in costs from suppliers
- Provide admin support for company vehicle fleet
- Work closely with customer service department
- Provide support in processing purchase invoices into Sage
- Assisting the Financial Controller on varied tasks for the day to day operation of the accounts department

You are likely to come from a product / inventory or logistics background but be capable of learning new numerate administration tasks. You will have strong Excel skills and an eye for detail on large amounts of data. You must have clear, communication skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage your time effectively. Flexibility within your job role will be essential and also to be able to approach all tasks confidently.
