**Head of eCommerce Operations**

An incredible opportunity has arisen for an experienced eCommerce & systems specialist to join High Performance Outerwear Brand - ThruDark.

You will be responsible for driving growth and improving the technology suite for ThruDark’s D2C online store. As a key marketing channel for the overall business, this position will partner closely with brand, performance and merchandising to ensure the website provided an incredible customer experience.

**Key responsibilities**
- Define a global vision and strategy for site and be responsible for a team that will deliver a global D2C eCommerce function, aligned to the company brand strategy.
- Partner with leadership team to create and manage the annual P&L for eCommerce & performance marketing.
- Define and implement a data driven strategy to successfully grow the ThruDark brand globally.
- Manage our Omnichannel eCommerce shopping platform, utilising a variety of internal and external resources to ensure UX & CRO are at the forefront to ensure optimisation and stability.
- Build out the eCommerce tech stack to ensure profitability, improve conversion rate & achieve ample growth.
- Innovate day-to-day processes to complement and evolve existing tools, workflow and prioritisation, particularly, expanding the capabilities of existing platform (enhancements, features, upgrades, alongside our development team).
- Ensure that the eCommerce unit meets or exceeds weekly/monthly goals including demand, conversion, and goals by creating monthly KPIs and support the team with your proven implementation track record.
- Work with our development team to continue to produce a mobile first, high converting website
- Support with the IT, systems and cyber security department within the brand, ensuring that all best practices are followed, systems are current, updated and all data protection procedures are followed.
- Setting budgets and delivering regular reports on quantitative and qualitative results including measures of performance (OKRs and KPIs), budget (CapEx and OpEx) as agreed by the board.
- Analysing the customer journey and customer lifecycle values and developing the current processes to maintain customer satisfaction while allowing for high scalability and performance.
- Develop a full process integration all the way from product sourcing processes to order fulfilment.
- Create and champion a culture of cutting-edge product delivery techniques that will motivate, develop and grow the team to continually innovate and become a market leader in the industry.
- Provide oversight and guidance to assist the teams in finding innovative uses of technology to improve security, reduce risk and ensure compliance with new and existing regulations including data protection and GDPR. Developing contingency plans and disaster recovery systems.

- Contributes to the wider Management Board agenda to deliver financial business success while remaining our Brand Ambassador
- Successfully held a Senior eCommerce role, ideally within a digital first business
- Direct experience of developing and implementing a successful Ecommerce strategy
- Experience of managing and directing website Technical Structure, Design & Aesthetics, Content, Navigation, Information Architecture, Branding/Marketing, Performance, and Functionality efforts to positively impact Ecommerce efforts
- The ability to work in a cross functional structure, bringing together cross functional groups of people to achieve results.
- Experience managing a complex P&L across multiple divisions
- Experience of managing digital marketing teams and expertise in best practices that result in customer acquisition, retention and growth
- Extensive experience in multi-channel digital trading, driving change and growth

Salary £50,000 to £60,000, Salary dependant on experience
