**The Opportunity**

Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

We have a fantastic opportunity for Head of PMO Operations.

Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.

**The Role**

We are seeking a Head of PMO Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Project Management Office (PMO) for Sizewell C. At the heart of the project, you will be responsible for driving the successful development of our high performing PMO function, coordinating required assurance and clear communications. Your leadership and strong stakeholder relationships will be crucial in driving the strategic delivery of the project while establishing robust governance, processes, and controls.

**The Skills**
- Minimum of a degree in Engineering, Construction, Accounting, Quantity Surveying or other related field; Or appropriate Project experience.
- Proven experience in a senior PMO leadership role, ideally within large, complex infrastructure or energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMP).
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to influence at senior levels and across diverse teams.
- In-depth understanding of project management tools, governance processes, and reporting techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present to board-level stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically and drive performance through effective risk management and issue resolution.
