An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Cancer Services Team as a data clerk, supporting the management and monitoring of the National Best Practice Timed Pathways.

The successful applicant will work closely with the wider Cancer Services Team, including Cancer Pathway Trackers and MDT Coordinators to understand patient pathways and will be responsible for the timely and accurate collection and inputting of key data items.

The role involves using multiple hospital systems, including PAS, ICE and Somerset.

The successful applicant must have data entry skills and exceptional attention to detail.

You will play a pivotal role in the management and monitoring of the National Best Practice Timed Pathways. This will involve working closely with the wider Cancer Services Team to understand site specific pathways.

You will be responsible for the collection and inputting of key data items in relation to the Best Practice Timed Pathways, ensuring that data in recorded in a timely and accurate manner in line with local and national reporting requirements.

The successful applicant must have data entry skills and exceptional attention to detail.

The post holder will be responsible for collecting and inputting key data to support the department in meeting national dataset requirements, including COSD, National Audits, and CWT, with a primary focus on the collection and inputting of key data in relation to the National Best Practice Timed Pathways.

To support with extracting and producing data reports and responding to ad hoc queries and data requests, as instructed by the management team.

The post holder will support with the quality checking and validation of data within the Somerset system
