**Part-Time Year 1 Tutor, Chelmsford**

**About the Part-Time Year 1 Tutor position**: Prospero Teaching are looking for a Tutor to work with a Year 1 student based in Chelmsford.
- We are looking for a tutor to work 1:1 with a Year 1 student who is working at lower levels than her age would suggest.
- The student has Autism, is pre-verbal and presents with delay with her speech and language skills and her social interaction and communication skills.
- The student is beginning to use some PECS cards so knowledge and experience in this would be advantageous.
- Sessions will take place in either the student's home.
- The tuition will be very play-led as at present the student is unable to mark make.
- The position is to start ASAP.

**Experience, Training and Qualifications required for the Part-Time 1:1 Year 1 Tutor position**:

- QTS or QTLS is preferred but not essential providing you have relevant experience.
- Experience using PECS would be advantageous.
- Experience working with Students with SEN.
- Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.
- A positive attitude and desire.
- The ability to engage and motivate students whilst making learning fun.

**To be eligible for the Part-Time 1:1 Year 1 Tutor position through Prospero Teaching you must**:

- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Provide two professional child related references
- Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
- In-house Training and Development Team
