Servoca Resourcing Solutions are looking for a Roads Death Investigator for a 3 month role for a client based in Preston.

**Experience**:

- Experience of dealing of offences under the road traffic act 1988.
- Be able to deal with emotional and difficult situations.
- Working knowledge of interviewing under the PEACE guidelines.
- Assist with securing, preserving, and gathering of evidence and intelligence.
- Existing knowledge of the Criminal Justice System in relation to Road Traffic collisions.

**Duties**:

- Be able to use police computer systems to investigate and reasearch findings in written format to support the investigation where necessary.
- Attend post mortems, and act as note taker and exhibits officer.
- Be able to conduct interviews of suspects.
- Interact with bereaved family members and those involved in the incidents.
- Advise RPU SIO's and OIC's, and update them on the progress of an investigation, present evidence if necessary in court.
- Have regular contact with members of the public in person, by telephone, or in written correspondence.
