Our client a Market Leading International Business are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Team Leader role (15 Month Contract). They have an excellent Hybrid working pattern, only two days a month are required to be in the office in Woking, Surreyand they have free onsite parking and are based close to the train station.

**Description**

As the Accounts Payable Team Leader (15 Month Contract), Woking, Surrey you will be responsible for
- Oversee the accurate processing of Vendor invoices & credits for all UK's operating divisions within agreed procedures and timescales.
- Oversee the accurate processing of rents payments to landlords
- Manage the preparation of payment runs in line with agreed Company procedures and timescales. Ensure that all payment runs are prepared in line with SOX and advise Accounts Payable Manager of any discrepancies and propose solutions.
- Ensuring supplier statements are reconciled periodically in accordance with our SOX controls and payments are made to meet contractual obligations. Maintain close business relationships to protect service/delivery.
- Identify potential areas of change/improvement; make recommendations to the Finance Ops Manager. Implement agreed changes through collaboration with the Finance Ops Manager and other team members
- Ensure a working knowledge of VAT rules when overseeing the processing of invoices to safeguard HMRC compliance. Any areas of concern or gaps in knowledge should be raised with the Finance Operations Manager
- Supervision of 4 team members including issuing clear direction, delegation of workload, monitoring of processing and deadlines, performance review
- Monitor invoice register and pending invoices to identify older items and highlight these to the relevant AP Asst to investigate and resolve.

**Profile**
- Strong Accounts Payable experience is essential
- Previous Team Leading/Supervisory experience is desirable
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong Organisational skills
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills

**Job Offer**

Accounts Payable Team Leader role (15 Month Contract)
- Salary £28,000 - £35,000
- Very good Hybrid working pattern, only two days a month are required to be in the office
