**Role**:Compliance Officer (12 Month Contract)

**Location**: London, UK

**Reporting To**: CCO, London

We are currently representing a European MTF who is seeking a compliance officer, to sit within their compliance advisory team in London. Our client trade across a number of financial instruments in Europe such as cash bonds, repos, credit default swaps andinterest rate swaps. If you are seeking an opportunity within a European MTF who are organically growing across Europe, do not hesitate to look further
- 3+ years of compliance and financial markets experience
- Strong knowledge of MIFID, MAR, EMIR etc
- Strong organizational and presentation skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Fluency in English

**The Role**:

- Provide regulatory advice to the and guidance to the business
- Implement controls relating to regulatory rules and requirements
- Assisting the business in further developing regulatory solutions
- Providing guidance on the MTF and rulebook
- Assisting with MIFID II reporting
- Implement policies and procedures, and developing existing compliance processes
- Leading training sessions internally for relevant stakeholders
- Working closely with other control functions
