Pure are working with a well established logisitcs client based in Witham who are looking for a Transport Administrator. The main purpose of the role will be reporting to the Transport Manager where youwill be preparing delivery notes and driver runsheets by processing requests and supply orders from customers as directed by the Transport Manager and Transport planner.
Main Duties:

- To complete all paperwork promptly and accurately as directed by the Transport Manager in accordance with Legislation.
- Report to the Transport Manager / Transport Planners any issues surrounding the transport administrative function.
- Comply with all Health & Safety requirements in our depot as directed by the senior management team
- To take ownership of the administrative function throughout the transport operational process
- Discuss and improve current administrative processes with the Transport Manager and action accordingly when approved
- To take ownership of their own personal development actively looking to increase their knowledge base and experience at all times.
The individual must be flexible and able to work in a team based environment.
- Logistics experience would be a desirable
- 1-2 years experience within a similar role
- Demonstrable Administrative ability
- Polite and Courteous
- Essential literacy and numeracy skills.
- A commitment to delivering the best possible customer service.
- To be able to deal with queries and respond accurately
