We are currently recruiting for a Senior PMO Analyst to join the team on a full-time, 9 month FTC basis, this is a UK-based role.
Support the delivery of our Digital Programme by providing Senior PMO support and guidance.
Provide support across the Programme and Projects, through analysis and reporting consolidated performance to senior stakeholders. Working alongside the Portfolio Management Office to support planning, quality assurance activity, benefit management, risk management, financial management and resource management enabling successful delivery of the programme.
**The Job**
- Provide programme/project process expertise and analysis services to support the organisation during the full lifecycle of any change initiative. Develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels within the organisation. In particular, the Senior PMO analyst work closely with Project/Programme managers, Project Team, resourcing team and the Portfolio Accountant. Facilitate programme workshops and governance forums, ensuring information presented is accurate, all outcomes are clearly documented and followed up
- Undertake analysis of information to ensure accurate records, insights and controls regarding programme/project performance (incl. plans, change logs, risk & issues register and dependency networks) are available to senior stakeholders at time of need.
- Support the In-flight Project Audit and Review Process, including the creation of detailed reports for senior stakeholders.
- Support resource management processes and the production of associated deliverables (e.g. resource capacity plan), by undertaking analysis of complex supply and demand information, and highlighting any resource short-falls and spare capacity to the relevant governance board within a specific project/programme
- Support and enforce agreed Portfolio/programme/Project governance structures and processes e.g., project mobilisation, reporting requirements, gateway reviews, and that stakeholders involved in the project/programmes (including Project Managers) are supported and coached as required (e.g. month end financial processes)
- In addition to these key responsibilities, perform any other activities within a project to which they have a secondary alignment or in which they have the experience, capability and knowledge.
**The Person**
- Proven track record in a Senior Programme analyst role
- Experience of working in a Programme or Project environment
- Good understanding of the role of PMO within a programme environment
- Experience of employing a broad and diverse range of project/programme management best practices, methodologies and tools including those related to RAID, planning, reporting, resource management and benefits management.
- Experience in working with large amounts of data to provide succinct analysis, spotting and communicating trending information.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, or an equivalent level of experience
- Skill in planning and dependency management.
- Demonstrate an innovative approach to problem solving including identifying opportunities for development and improvement
- Attention to detail, with the ability to ensure high quality communications in multiple to a variety of stakeholders
- Highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic individual who is able to work on their own initiative with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Organise and co-ordinate meetings, workshops, events and training sessions
- Highly competent level use of Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Project, knowledge of Power BI preferable.
- Have been formally trained in recognised Project Management methodology, such as Prince 2, Agile, P3O or an equivalent level of experience.
