**Job description**
**Accounts Administrator**
The above role will include the reviewing and reconciling of company accounts, processing payments, maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts. You will also be required to process the company payroll. You should have a proven finance or accounting background and be familiar with bookkeeping.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage obligations to suppliers, customers and third party vendors
- Reconcile financial statements
- Prepare, send & store invoices
- Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments
- Identify and address discrepancies
- Action & complete weekly cash flow process
- Report on the status of accounts payable & receivable to the Director
- Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
- Process monthly payroll (using Sage) & Online Submissions to HMRC
**Requirements**:
- Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role
- Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations
- Hands-On experience with accounting software. Ideally Sage 50 Accounts Professional & Sage Payroll
- Solid data entry skills, with a good attention to detail
- The ability to identify numerical errors
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- Confident communicator with other departments and Managing Director, to ensure clear communication at all times
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Would suit somebody working on self-employed basis
Part-time hours: 15 per week
Salary to be discussed at interview
