Cinematic Technical Artist

This fantastic games studio making AAA games is looking for a Technical Artist to join its talented team.
Their narrative games have a unique visual aesthetic, blending 2D characters and 3D environments in a Cinematic style. They are looking for someone to help the Cinematics department to liaise, propose, and iterate on the creation and improvement of the cinematictools and pipeline.
**The role will involve**:
- Liaising with the Engineering team ensuring best practise workflows, tooling, and pipelines are established to create best-in-class cinematics
- Improving efficiencies in the cinematics creation process, proposing new processes, advising on latest trends and establishing better ways of working.
- Adapting the cinematic pipeline to support any changes in how content is made.
- Owning the technical execution of cinematic content
- Creating rigs and simulations for the project
- Supporting the Cinematic team in day-to-day technical and production issues
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation
You will need:
- Collaborative and positive attitude
- Programming knowledge, such as C#, C++, Python, etc
- Work history with a realtime engine (Unity, Unreal, Cryengine, Frostbite, etc)
- Background with Digital Content Creators, such as Maya or Blender
- Rigging and technical experience in games, VFX, film, or television
- Grasp of the key principles of animation and/or the cinematic language
