**Process Administrator**

Chemring Energetics UK (CEUK) is a global business providing a range of equipment based on energetic materials for defence, civil defence and key commercial customers.

we’re looking for a proactive **Process Administrator** to play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our stock control systems and supporting our production operations. You'll be at the heart of our propellants production process - monitoring inventory, ensuring compliance with safety standards, managing waste disposal administration, and keeping our production data sharp and reliable.

**Key Accountabilities & Duties**:

- Carry out all activities in full compliance with H&SE legislation, within company policy and procedure.
- Responsible for reporting any unsafe acts or unsafe conditions observed (using the Near Miss System) in accordance with responsibilities under the Health and Safety at work Act.
- Monitor accuracy of system status for WIP and finished product work orders.
- Conduct regular physical inventory stock audits for Propellants magazines and storage areas ensuring accuracy of stock holding in system.
- Monitor shelf life of product, intermediates and raw materials allocated to production and report to Propellants production Manager the status of those to allow appropriate decisions to be made.
- Monitor WIP and process waste and report to Propellants production Manager the status of those to allow appropriate decisions to be made.
- Administrate the Propellants waste process through liaison with the Propellants Production Manager and other relevant departments to ensure that all paperwork and procedures have been adhered to.
- Ensure system data reflects actual waste transactions through tracking and inputting of required system data.
- Print off pick list for WIP production work orders and issue to production team.
- Maintain mass balances for each batch of propellant manufactured.
- Creating job packs.
- Filing Work Orders into relevant folders.
- Mass Balance input & maintenance.
- Inventory movements, general magazine inventory scope and licence checks.
- WiP checks for Magazines at beginning of each shift.
- Labour Bookings for all Mechanite operators on both shifts.
- Job Closing and flagging jobs for completion.
- Cycle counts conducted for each magazine every month.
- Complete propellant magazine space to show stock discrepancy & fill in board in PK5 meeting room.
- Ensure waste records are completed and up to date.
- Accompany disposal departments to ensure the correct waste is being followed for DEPI 26 and MM9.
- NCM material and complete Magazine spreadsheet for DMR Material.
- Liaise with logistics to action disposal / rework material.
- Highlight additional stock for work/sale due to better yield.
- Assist with other plant admin duties.

**Qualifications/ Experience**:

- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Good appreciation of stock control in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with MS Office packages essential
- HNC level in appropriate area of study
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Must have personal commitment to Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.
- Strong bias for action to identify potential problems and co-ordinate their resolution before they become an issue.
- Strong IT, communication and team working skills
- Knowledge of the principles of company policy and operating procedures in order to ensure site and company compliance.
- Excellent communication skills.
