Axon Moore have an exclusive outside IR35 opportunity for an Interim Finance Manager working for an elite Property Management business.
Reporting into the Group Finance Director, you will have day to day responsibility for the Reporting Finance function and will mentor a team of two on a daily basis.
As Finance Manager you will work closely with the Transaction Team Manager to ensure that the change process required is adopted correctly across the finance function.
**Duties**:

- Oversee the preparation of the group’s management accounts and the annual consolidated financial statements.
- Liaising with the quantity surveyors and project managers for each development to maintain a close understanding and control of costs up to completion, followed by investigations into cost variances.
- Ensuring covenant reporting deadlines and drawdown requirements are met, with the timely submission to the group’s financial partner.
- Liaising with the external auditors for the completion of the statutory accounts.
- Provide advice and support, as required, on financial and commercial matters within the group.

**Person Specification**:

- Qualified accountant
- Preferably from a real estate background (not essential)
- Team player and leader, preferably with some commercial decision-making experience;
- Strong communicator and able to articulate complex financial information in an easy to understand format; and
- Good presentation skills especially with external business partners and contacts.

This job specification is not exhaustive and you may be required to undertake other tasks necessary to meet the needs of the business.
The role is based in the Trafford Park office and is not remote although a certain amount of flexibility may be offered once you have picked up the role fully.
