Our client, a leading media company, are currently looking for a Project Manager to join their existing team.

Any experience working on web / digital projects highly desirable.

**Responsibilities / Essential Skills**

Looking for someone to help manage a number of projects and BAU tasks, reporting to and supported by a highly experienced project manager. Looking for a Junior Project Manager who ideally understands the basic concepts of Web technologies and wants to gainfurther experience and exposure within a Web/ E-commerce environment.

You will be willing to learn, comfortable engaging with stakeholders and development teams, not afraid to ask questions and actively involving yourself in project meetings. You will be closely supported by an experienced project manager who will invest timeand effort into building your experience and skill set, therefore the right attitude is imperative.

You will be proactive, looking at opportunities to support the project team whilst building your experience of requirement gathering, kick off meetings, instructing development/ test teams and release management. This is a fantastic opportunity for the rightcharacter with experience across web technology or project management to build up their career within a fantastic, high profile and exciting business.
- Commercial Project Management or Project Support experience.
- Drive and confidence are essential; it's a high pressured and fast paced role but the rewards are excellent in terms of working for recognised brand and career progression.
- Ideally you will need to understand the basic concepts of Web and be comfortable asking questions. Our client would rather see someone who works on their own initiative and make a mistake and learn, than ignore it or leave the task to someone else.
- You will need to be very proactive. The client is not looking for someone who sits and waits to be told what to do, but always thinking ahead, what's next, what can I help with etc.
- You will be involved in a lot of day to day meetings and will be supporting the project manager through busy and high pressured times.
- You will be the filter between the project manager and small tasks will eventually be managed by you with project manager’s guidance. This Includes: requirements gathering, kick off meetings, instructing developers/testers on work and releasing.
- Experience of working on projects run in an Agile methodologies
- Strong organisation skills.
- Great communicator both written and verbally.
- Understanding of PRINCE2 / agile methodologies. Foundation certificates would be great to see
