**Talent Development Advisor**

**Location**: London

**About the Role**

Our client is looking for a proactive Talent Development Advisor to join their HR team and drive the people development agenda. This is an operational role that requires building relationships across the business, advising leaders and employees, establishingprocesses, and designing and leading various talent development initiatives.

**Main Duties**
- Assess employee development needs
- Own and manage the Company Personal Development Plans process
- Work with line managers to help them design career paths for their teams
- Manage succession planning and identify high potential individuals
- Manage induction and onboarding
- Prepare and update the Company training matrix
- Organise internal, external and mandatory training
- Propose and facilitate leadership development programmes
- Manage the graduate, trainee and apprenticeship programmes
- Prepare of management reports including KPIs to measure the effectiveness of development programmes
- Participate in other HR projects and initiatives

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- A proven track record in a talent development or HR generalist role
- Experience in driving development initiatives and succession planning
- Experience in managing performance reviews and development plans
- Experience in identifying, organising training and evaluating courses
- Experience in working in Engineering or technology is highly desirable
- Ability to build relationships at all levels
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to analyse data and present HR metrics
- Friendly and proactive

Office hours 9 - 5.30. Will be expected to travel to all company locations periodically.
