There will be the need for occasional travel to other retail sites around the country as and when required.The RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised curious and passionate about making a real impact through data process and people. Youll play a vital role in implementing our Talent and Development strategy by turning it into action. This will be done primarily viasupporting day-to-day delivery across four key areas: Talent Performance Engagement and Learning with a particular focus on Talent.Youll be responsible for managing and analysing data coordinating development programmes supporting performance processes and helping to shape engaging and meaningful learning experiences.As a key member of the Talent & People Development team youll work closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure initiatives run smoothly and align with our business goals. Youll balance regular ongoing activities with opportunities to contribute to broader project work.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data to drive insights who has a structured process-driven mindset and enjoys building long term relationships with a range of stakeholders.Youll be the first point of contact for Talent and Development queries partnering with People Managers and Line Managers to understand team goals and help deliver solutions that boost engagement performance and retention.Youll thrive in an environment where you can adapt quickly and bring others along with you. Most importantly youll be a champion of our cultural DNA bringing it to life in how you work and how you support others.Principle Accountabilities As the Talent and Development Advisor you will be responsible for:Talent (Primary Focus)Support the collection organisation and accuracy of talent data particularly during key cyclesAssist in the planning and coordination of talent programmes including scheduling logistics and supplier liaisonMaintain and update talent dashboards and trackers to support succession planning and internal mobilityHelp identify skills gaps and evolution and development of targeted interventionsEnsure data integrity and consistency across systems and reportsAnticipate how technology solutions including automation and AI will reshape talent needs and how they can enhance and support our development offeringPerformanceSupport the delivery of performance management processes including system testing data tracking and reportingMonitor completion rates and identify areas requiring follow-up or additional communicationWork with People Managers to encourage engagement with performance tools and timelinesProvide administrative support during key performance milestonesDelivery of cost effective initiatives via tracking of relevant budgets to ensure value for money is aligned with business needs.Support People Directors and People Managers to deliver our high performance ambition by making sure they have the right tools and guidance to help their teams perform at their best including helping to build manager confidence in handling underperformance.EngagementManage access to engagement survey platforms and dashboardsTrack response rates and support reporting on engagement insightsHelp identify trends and support the development of action plans based on survey dataCoordinate updates and communications related to companywide engagement initiativesLearningSupport the embedding a culture of continuous blended learning by creatively applying the 70/20/10 modelAssist with ongoing maintenance and administration of the learning platformContent curation and coordination and planning of learning activities including scheduling communications and evaluationSupport mandatory training rolloutsUsing data to effectively to understand and evolve the learning offer to maximise impactWorking in partnership with our Social mobility lead to leverage the Apprenticeship LevyDelivery of cost effective initiatives via tracking of relevant budgets to ensure value for money is aligned with business needs.Essential CriteriaStrong data skills - confident working with spreadsheets dashboards and reporting toolsAttention to detail and commitment to data accuracyCreative and curious mindset - able to suggest improvements and think beyond the obviousComfortable working with systems (e.g. Workday survey tools learning platforms)Excellent organisational and coordination skillsStrong communication skills - both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesA collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across functionsInterest in talent development and a desire to grow in the fieldProven experience of translating strategy into excellent executionExperience creating fit for purpose talent and development solutionsAbility to embrace innovation and digest changing market conditionsTechnologically savvy derive insights and inform decision makingDesirable (but not essential)Experience in Learning & Development Talent or HR contextExperience supporting talent or performance cyclesFamiliarity with the 70/20/10 learning modelExposure to engagement survey tools or platformsExperience liaising with external training providers or suppliersExperience in training design delivery or facilitationLife and Benefits at LandsecWe have a great benefits package there to support you with your work-life balance and in moments that matter.
