Department Overview

**Job Description**:
This role requires you to work out of our Rugby offices.

To lead the development and scheduling all testing work through working in collaboration with the SI&T Team including internal and external business units. To take responsibilities to lead the development of Test resourcing plans and manage resolution of conflicts using the resource planning tool. The role requires the individual to coordinate and take ownership for the management of resources to accommodate testing activities for the wider business teams and 3rd party equipment suppliers, all whom require access to the Reference system environments.

- Resolution of test resourcing conflicts
- Finance - Budgets, Purchase Orders and reports
- Support the Senior Leadership Team when requested

This role will play an important part in the delivery of SI&T services, process improvements and efficiencies across the System Integration & testing team and the wider Business activities.

The post holder should seek to continually improve the performance of the SI&T activities within the organisation.

The post holder will need to influence others outside of the department regarding practices and procedures and may be required to offer training or guidance to people in more senior roles.

Typical problems will require some understanding of other resource areas such as PMO, Network Design and Customer Integration i.e. when pulling together details for prioritisation and priority calls.

Day to day tasks include:
The Job holder will undertake the following key activities for UK S&S Testing services
- ALM Scheduling for resources
- Attendance at Test related scheduling meetings
- PMO - Clarity V ALM - scheduling
- SIM provisioning
- H&S inspections quarterly
- Asset tracking
- Budget management
- Software governance audit - reviews
- ARP - Airwave Resource Planning - project with PMO
- Support for Release deployment Management process
- Support for the reference system O&M activities
- Support on non-technical UK S&S ESN activities
- Generate Monthly management performance reports as requested
- Application of Commercial knowledge when dealing with external suppliers and customers
- Support the engineers with testing activities on the test environments

Basic Requirements

- Ability to perform Resource planning and scheduling actives based on the data provided by ETMs and PMO
- Ability to use multiple company back-office support systems.
- Trained and experienced in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Project management scheduling experience
- Experience of SAP preferred.
- ITIL foundation Level qualification preferred
- Experience of ALM preferred
