**What do we do here at Hughes, you ask?**

We specialise in supplying **5G **telecoms equipment, as experts in the telecoms industry providing unparalleled rapid response support to our nation’s largest networks, we also specialise in cable assembly and testing for the Cellular communications industry. What we do is important - **every time someone makes a mobile phone call, they're using our product**.

**As a trainee engineer;**

You need dexterity and you will learn fabrication skills such as; soldering, injection moulding, fibre optic termination, coaxial termination, VSWR and optical testing. Advanced learners can move on to understand electrical and optical passive signal processing and manufacturing techniques.

Or take it to the outer limits and learn team supervision and management.
