**FP&A Manager (Group) - London - | £500 to £550 per day Inside IR35 - 6 month duration**

Morson are proud to be partnering with a Global Sustainable Logistics Company looking to recruit a **FP&A Manager**to support the Global FP&A teamfor a period of approx. 6 months. However, there is an excellent chance for the role to become permanent.

This role is part of the Global FP&A team, supporting key initiatives and projects. The role is key in driving project planning and execution through deadline management, clear communication, and robust financial insight.

Reporting to the Director of FP&A, the **FP&A Manager**Key Accountabilities will be:
**Planning and Performance Management**:

- Support the global FP&A team in delivering key Strategic Initiatives and Projects from across the business
- Working with some of the top talent within the organization, developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships - ensuring effective two-way communication is maintained and engagement is consistent throughout the project.
- Review inputs from project stakeholders, not only ensuring information is correct and ‘hangs together’ with other project datapoints, but also is clearly communicated in terms of format and layout
- Develop clear and concise insight, leveraging inputs from key stakeholder - ensuring key findings or ‘purpose’ of the work is obviously communicated
- Creating, reviewing, and managing project milestones - flagging risks and developing contingencies to ensure project deadlines are achieved.
- Ad-hoc support to Group Finance Director as well the SVP, Group FP&A, as needed

**Characteristics to be successful in this role**:

- Must be confident to engage with various levels of senior stakeholders and independently manage regular communications across the business globally.
- Requires an innovative approach as the role, by its nature, is often required to address new issues, identify potential impacts and risks and to deal with a change in circumstances throughout the project.
- The role needs to manage multiple demands from various project stakeholders who sometimes may not be prescriptive in their needs, requires the ability to clarify and address these without compromising quality or timeliness.
- Must be able to work effectively across multiple time zones, cultures and develop and sustain working relationships across functions.
- The role is creating the foundation for the decision-making process, the need for timely accurate insight that is clearly communicated is key - this needs to be done against a backdrop of fast paced, fluid environment.
- Given the global nature of the role occasional work will be required outside of office hours to liaise across different time zones and must be mobile for global travel as required throughout the duration of the project.

**Key skills and qualifications**:

- Graduate qualified in finance, business, or economics
- Qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA / CPA or equivalent
- 5+ years of Finance or Accounting Management
- Expert with MS PowerPoint
- Proven experience in driving change management initiatives - project management skills
- Solid understanding of FP&A and finance processes and deliverables.Clarity on all aspects of financial statements (Income statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) - comfortable modelling impacts across.
- Strong interpersonal skills to enable effective collaboration across time zones and cultures.Collaboration and teamwork is critical to succeed
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with finance teams, and other key senior stakeholders to ensure engagement and delivery of change.
- Self-motivated and willingness to take initiative and propose solutions.
- Ability to balance the needs of various business units in terms of requirements and priorities.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and/ under pressure.
- User experience with financial reporting and planning systems SAP ERP, BW and Oracle HFM desirable.

**Location**: London/ Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote each week)

**Salary**:£500 to £550 per day inside IR35
