**Our reputable client is looking to recruit an experienced Water Safety Manager for a minimum of 12 months. The key requirements of the role will be to implement and manage and oversee a range of operational systems, relating primarily with regard towater systems.

**Key Responsibilities of the Water Safety Manager;**
- Overall Estates lead for Water Safety Groups and Chair accordingly
- Manage a range of key Water Safety related Contractors, review their performance on a regular basis
- Monitor actions of in-house team and their function with regard to water safety compliance and PPM programmes in place
- Ensure all water safety related records are adequate and acted on as required
- Facilitate and assist with Authorising Engineer (AE) audits and create/deliver action plans as required
- Monitor PPM reports from FM software and Compass system, etc. to assure compliance and expedite any non-compliant exceptions
- Manage the requirements for the 'minimisation and control of legionella and other water borne diseases' as responsible person (water) and the Management of Water Distribution systems e.g. monitoring contracts to carry out duties such as the disinfectionof water tanks and systems
- Lead on the establishment of an agreed PPM schedule for all water systems.
- Lead on expediting water policy and SOP requirements, updates and renewals to maintain current compliance requirements. This will include reviewing, writing and/or updating policies / SOP's
- Manage maintenance subcontractors, to monitor PPM completion and to provide technical support to all sections of the maintenance department as necessary
- Responsible for ensuring compliance to all Estates related Quality Assurance system procedures

**Essential criteria of the Water Safety Manager;**
- Training/Qualification in the Management of Water Systems
- Certificated training on building services plant and equipment
- HNC or equivalent, or relevant experience and knowledge
- Enhanced DBS
