The HR/Recruitment Administrator role will form a key part of the Group HR Function within AAG in Milton Keynes Head Office.
Providing a full HR administration service to the HR Team and Business stakeholders, acting as the first point of contact for all HR enquiries, covering core HR issues and recruitment admin tasks.
**Role Accountabilities Will Include**:
- Working with the HR Team, to achieve or exceed the Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets by supporting the team’s daily work tasks, identifying opportunities for improving processes and developing the team of HR Administrators.
- Monitor daily service requests/work tasks and call volumes with resources being rotated to meet demands to ensure smooth operations of HR Admin Service Centre which meet/exceed the targets within the agreed SLAs
- Ensure that service requests/work tasks are well organised and prioritised
- Identify early service requests/work tasks or situations, which have potential to become complicated or cause issues, and ownership taken until resolution or escalation as appropriate
- Provide regular feedback on daily operations, potential customer issues, team working and any areas for improvements
- Support HR Administrators and new team members with day-to-day work tasks/service requests and develop their skills and knowledge to ensure an active, realistic succession plan is in operation
**Core HR Admin Duties Will Include**:
- To maintain and update electronic personnel record systems containing all employment-related information including absence, holidays, starters and leavers, benefits and equality and diversity.
- To administer employee leaver processes as appropriate including producing letters and exit interview analysis.
- To prepare any letters or contracts for any changes to employee terms and conditions e.g. flexible working/change of hours/change of location as appropriate
- To handle maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental leave and parental leave administration where appropriate, and liaise with payroll to ensure correct payments are processed.
- To support the implementation of HR systems or databases; to enter data and maintain these accordingly.
- To handle initial contact into the HR department, signposting onwards as appropriate.
- Escalate issues of concern to the appropriate HR Advisor, Group HR Manager or HR Director
- To respond to general queries from managers and employees, signposting them to the appropriate policies and procedures.
**Core Recruitment Admin Duties will include**:
- Ensure all paper and electronic personnel records are accurate and up to date.
- Assisting with HR Administration in respect of Starters, leavers and change notifications collating all relevant documentation and proving all details to the payroll team for processing
- Undertaking all required pre-employment check administration, including reference checks
- Experience of working within a fast paced, high-performance team
- Understanding of end-to-end HR processes and procedures
- Ability to identify and resolve potential problems or issues and take necessary actions to prevent them from developing
- Proven ability to plan and prioritise a busy workload and meet agreed targets/deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple customer requirements cases simultaneously
- Ability to influence effectively across all levels of an organisation
