We are recruiting a part-time Administrator to be located at our Compañeros Crisis Café in Birkenhead. The hours will be between 25 and 30 per week to be worked over 5 days, however we are flexible to some degree as to the start and finish times, and we will seek to agree this based on your preference. The full time equivalent salary for this role is £20,500.00 and the actual salary will be pro rata to the agreed number of hours.

In Birkenhead, we run an abstinence project for people with former substance misuse issues and / or mental health issues as well as the Compañeros Crisis Café which aims to divert people away from Accident and Emergency (A&E) and other traditional crisis services by using our dynamic Creative Recovery approach.

Compañeros offers a non-clinical setting to support individuals out of crisis and, when appropriate, engage with the Spider Project’s creative recovery programme and access other support.

**Overview of Role**

You will provide administrative support for the Compañeros Crisis Café to include;
- updating and maintaining the database, organising members' files, checking and inputting contact records onto the database, sending letters to members, and providing any other administrative support as required.
- maintaining calendars to manage team commitments, use of rooms etc.
- welcoming members, volunteers and other visitors as they enter the building
- Assisting with rostering staff and organising cover in case of absence
- Liaising with estates / appointed contractors to resolve building issues
- Ensuring that the office is always well resourced and equipped

**Working Hours**

Compañeros is open 365 days per year between 10.00am and 10.00pm. This is a part-time position, working 25-30 hours per week, but with flexibility in respect of start and finish times within our operating hours.
