About this Role

The Milestone School is part of SAND Academies Trust and is an outstanding school for pupils with a range of special needs, aged 3-16, based in Gloucester.

We would like to appoint a Family Support Worker, who will also act as deputy designated safeguarding lead (DDSL), to identify support required by parents and pupils and deliver or signpost parents to appropriate support from other agencies in order to reduce barriers to learning and improve pupil wellbeing and outcomes.

The post is full time, working 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), term time only plus inset, plus two weeks to be worked by arrangement in the school holidays. Please note that you will be expected to take all holidays when the school is not in session.
