**Actual Annual Salary**: £32,275 - £35,693 based on hours and weeks worked.

**Full Time Equivalent Salary**:£35,852 - £39,649 (CLF Grade E) - Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.

**Contract Type**:Permanent

**Hours**:Full-time (37 hours per week) Term time only plus 3 weeks.

**Start Date**: As soon as possible.

**About you: **

 You will: 
- Have an awareness and working knowledge of safeguarding and the willingness to develop expertise in this area.
- Possesses a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in a children/young people related qualification or equivalent qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Own a full clean driving licence and be willing to travel to other sites or attend home visits.
- Have proven experience with working with young people ideally with SEMH needs and their families in education or related areas.
- Hold excellent influencing, negotiating and advocacy skills, including the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders, including children, young people, parents, and carers in a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency context at all levels of the organisation.
- Be someone who can motivate and inspire young people and their families

**About Brook Academy**:
The Brook Academy is a special school in Gloucester with supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health as the primary need for students, and speech, language and communication need as a secondary need. Our mission is to consistently deliver excellent educational experiences for young people aged 11-16, improving their life chances and serving our communities.
