Simply Education are looking to recruit an enthusiastic teacher / Instructor who has the ability to teach English as a Second or Other Language to secondary school students.
The EAL Teacher will be working with students in small groups (no bigger than 6) and will need to be able to effectively manage the groups and contribute to an ongoing further understanding of the English language.
This post will cover a maternity leave and the teacher will be responsible for a full teaching timetable.
The Teacher would ideally hold a TEFL qualification or a certified qualification which is similar. However, this is not essential and someone who has relevant and similar experience will be considered.
As the successful Supply Teacher you will need to:
- Hold a TEFL /EAL Qualification OR...
- Be an Early Years Teacher (ECT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education
- Passion for teaching and education.
- Have a creative approach to teaching
- Be flexible and adaptable
- Passion for supporting students in their learning
- Possess ambition and drive to become an outstanding class-room practitioner
- Excellent communication and lesson delivery skills
- A hard work ethic
